Producers, distributors and other rights holders of adult content can engage us to monitor illegal downloading of their copyrighted content TO seek legal recourse against infringers. We will enter into our standard, confidential services contract with rights holders or their representatives, which will engage the Adult Copyright CompanySM to pursue infringement claims against downloaders at no cost or expense to the rights holders.
Our contract is a contingency-based engagement whereby the rights holder will recover a portion of the losses it has suffered due to illegal downloading, by making the infringers pay for their theft.
METHODS
We attempt to resolve claims against infringers amicably through negotiation and settlement. If we are unsuccessful our network of attorneys will sue downloaders in their respective home jurisdictions, nation-wide.
It takes time to pursue individual actions, but fortunately, time is on our side. the statute of limitations for infringement under the Copyright Act is 3 years. we have the time and resources to track down infringers.
